A 9-year-old girl called the police at her home after her parents ordered her to clean her own room. The case occurred on October 8 in Ontario, Canada.
According to the local police, security officers would have gone to the child's home to answer an emergency call. Once there, the police realized that the situation was only a misunderstanding between the girl and the parents because of the domestic task.
At the scene, officers reminded parents and the child that emergency number 911 should only be used in the event of a real emergency. Police warned that it took at least two police officers for about 30 minutes to investigate a phone call. Such situations occupy our telephone lines, waste taxpayers' money, police work and threaten lives that could actually be in danger, "police officer Ed Sanchuck told The Daily Mail.
