An entrepreneur from São Paulo decided to invest in the production of candies and pastries without gluten and lactose. He seized a share of the market of food intolerance, growing in Brazil.

"We make healthy snacks, all gluten-free, dairy-free, trans-fat-free, no preservatives, no flavor, nothing," says the businessman. Calimério de Carvalho.

Calimério and a partner invested R $ 120,000 in the redevelopment of the kitchen, machinery, product testing, packaging and raw materials to launch the business. Last year, the partner left the company, but the company continued its activity. Today, 13,000 salgados are produced per month. The products are in 60 outlets such as cafes, department stores and supermarkets.

"The mbad that we make with rice flour, starch, is what we replace the flour For fodder, so that there is no milk, we use yam "says Calimerio.

One of the key strategies to help with billing is to bring products closer to the customer. The tasting serves to counter the prejudices that the healthy product is bad. In all, there are ten different products: eight salty and two sweet.

Monthly billing is R $ 55,000. The next step is selling mini-salt for birthdays.
