One of the cars destroyed by the fire, the civilian police investigated the case.
In all, 15 firefighters, three fire trucks and a rescue unit were needed. After the fire control, a team of the company continued into the affected area to contain a possible fire restart. Colonel of the fire department, Gilvander Gregorio de Lima, the flames took about two hours to be controlled.
