A fire destroys an aviary in Bacacheri this Sunday; animals are struck

A fire completely destroyed an aviary near a restaurant on Francisco M. Albizu Avenue, in the Bacacheri district of Curitiba. Since Sunday morning (10), several fire service teams have fought the fire.

The cause of the fire is still uncertain. Residents reported that the flames started around 11 am and that near the place taken by the fire was a restaurant that served as a Sunday restaurant. On the site, there were many flammable materials. The entire structure of the walls was built of wood and there was a stock of sacks of coal

At least two fire trucks were mobilized. to contain the flames which, having reached a place in wood, burned completely. As a result of the fire, Francisco M. Albizu Avenue was blocked in its entirety between Escultor João Zacco Paraná and Emília Gomes Costa Streets.

According to police officers who attended the call, the first arrived team had difficulty controlling the fire due to the large amount of combustible materials present on the site. The aviary was made of wood and the structure fell. The firefighters managed to contain the fire that went through two rooms of a neighboring house.
