A man arrested after killing a friend with stabbings
A man was arrested for the murder of his girlfriend, stabbed to the body.

plus_horiz Sunday 3, dawn, in São Caetano do Sul, the ABC city of São Paulo. According to information provided by the Public Security Secretariat, the Metropolitan Civil Guard was called in to deal with a case of domestic violence, but no one showed up on arrival.
The officers were later informed that thirty-year-old veterinarian Paula Patrícia de Melo and her boyfriend Givanilson Valdemir dos Santos, 26, had been taken to Zerbini Euryclides Hospital
upon arrival. At the scene, the Civil Guards found the two men inside a Jeep Renegade vehicle. Paula was hurt and unconscious and Santos had a wound in the abdomen. The man informed the agents that the couple had been robbed but later confessed to stabbing after a fight.
Paula was transferred to the Mário Covas Hospital in Santo André, also on ABC, for surgery. but he could not resist the wounds. The perpetrator was charged with flagrante delicto but, because of his injuries, remains hospitalized under police escort. The crime was recorded as a homicide qualified with an aggravated feminicide.
