California state police followed a young man suspected of licking the doorbell for more than two hours. Images from a video show the man identified as Roberto Daniel Arroyo, 33, last Saturday (5). The information comes from a spokesman for the Salinas Police Department.
The next day, a police officer on patrol in the area found Arroyo. According to the authorities, the man is a homeless person. When questioned by the police officer, he was later released even though he still faces a possible charge of theft.
Police said that Roberto's action had begun around 2 am when he approached the house. At one point in the video, the man goes to bed and dozes off for 20 minutes before resuming action.
Roberto turned his back to the camera and urinated on a plant in front of the house. Arroyo disconnected an extension of power used to let the lights of the Christmas set on and off.
The police officer stated that it was the strangest case that he had seen for years. Arroyo had other disagreements with the Salinas Police Department. He was on parole. It's the Monterey County attorney who will decide what to do with Arroyo.
