An abused chow-chow puppy was rescued on Monday by Municipal Guards from Special Beach Group (GEP), Siqueira Campos Street, Copacabana, in the southern area of Rio. The animal was sold by one man for one thousand dollars.
Officers have found the dog after receiving a complaint from a guardian of animals who had surprised the situation. was touched by the condition of the little one. Upon arriving at the place where the chow-chow was sold, the guards found the animal in a very apathetic carton with many ticks.
The puppy was taken to a veterinarian who discovered a tick infestation and mild dehydration with a temperature of 39 degrees. After the flagrant, the man who was selling the animal was driven to the 12th DP (Copacabana), where the case was registered. The animal was under the care of the guard who complained.
