In Dallas, Texas, the driver of a school bus became the Santa Claus of the 70 children he usually carries.
Curtis Jenkins asked each student what he / she would like to win on his career. He then started to buy each item with his own money. Friends and community members learned of the existence of his plan and gave him money so that he could clear the list.
On December 21, the children were surprised when they left school at Lake Highlands Elementary School. When the bus arrived to take them home, it was filled with gifts, exactly what everyone had asked.
The story spread after the school had published photos of the vehicle with parcels and became the subject of television reports.
Jenkins told "Good Morning America" about ABC that the idea of making a gift to children was born because he wanted to "spread love and solicitude". According to the station, one of the students even asked if Jenkins was Santa Claus.
Inspired by the positive impact of the gesture, the driver decides to create an NGO. "If you show a lot of love to a lot of kids, they will do it," he said.
