One criminal died and another was shot dead during an exchange of gunfire with the police on Saturday afternoon (15), on one of the main beaches of São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo. A bather was also injured. She was shot in the back and hospitalized at the municipal hospital.
A video obtained by G1 shows the moment when frightened swimmers run from the sandy expanse of Millionaires Beach after hearing gunshots. The shooting took place around 3:20 pm, when two men attempted to rob swimmers.
According to the prime minister, bathers arrested a minor, but the second suspect took out a revolver and shot in the direction of the popular. Two army officers on the beach approached one of the suspects and sentenced to jail time.
Still according to the information provided by the agents, the boy did not respect and pointed the revolver at the prime minister who had reacted. The thug was shot and died when he tried to escape to a neighborhood street.
The victim, a 32-year-old woman whose name was not revealed, was shot in the lower back and taken to the municipal hospital. "She underwent a scan and after the test results will be rebadessed.His health is stable," said the unit. The case was registered in the 1st PD of São Vicente.
