Manaus / AM – The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) pointed out that industrial production in the Amazon rose by 12.4% in October, the best performance compared to other Brazilian states. Data was released Friday (7), showing that the increase occurred after the falls in August and September of this year.

The production of transportation equipment and metal products gave the best results in that state. Prior to October, the Amazonas industry was only growing during the months of January and July of this year.
