The states of Amazonas and Roraima have a measles epidemic, according to the Ministry of Health, Amazonas already has more cases of the disease than Roraima with 263 confirmed cases of the disease up to To June 20.

Mato Grosso also has cases

As the municipality of Guarantã is close to the border with the states of Pará (PA) and Roraima (RR), the epidemiological surveillance of the state investigates whether patients have contracted the virus in Mato Grosso or in from other states.

In Roraima, 112,971 doses of triple-virus vaccine were administered to Brazilians, Venezuelans and people of other nationalities.
