The airline Blue has confirmed the firm order of 21 aircraft Embraer. E195-E2. The deal was initially revealed at the Farnborough Air Show in July with a letter of intent . The contract is valued at $ 1.4 billion, depending on the price of the plane.

This is Blue's second application for the E195-E2, which in 2015 had already ordered 30 jets. The Brazilian company will be the first operator of the new Embraer jet, whose first delivery is scheduled for 2019. The E195-E2 is the largest airliner developed in Brazil with a capacity of 144 pbadengers.

The Blue E195-E2 will be configured to accommodate 136 pbadengers, compared to 118 for the current model. The fuselage of the new Embraer jet aircraft has risen by nearly 3 meters long, which allows to add more rows of seats in the cabin. Azul is currently the world's largest operator of the E195, with nearly 60 aircraft in the fleet. The company started receiving its first E-Jets from 2008 and at the end of 2015, it received the last aircraft from its first order (of 88 aircraft, between the E190 and E195 models), when it announced the new order of the E2 models [19659005] See also: Embraer delivers the E-Jet number 1500
