In order to favor bilateral agreements, President Jair Bolsonaro must first agree with Maurício Macri, who is heading for Mercosur.
The bloc is on the agenda of the meeting of Brazilian and Argentine ministers tomorrow, during the visit the Argentine President. Diplomats believe that the bloc has benefits for the country, particularly with regard to the sale of manufactured goods and investments between member countries.
Another solution under consideration is to bring Mercosur back to its "initial vocation" to liberalize it.
Another possibility is to talk to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, trading within the bloc, with simplification of tariff rules, convergence of regulations, elimination of internal barriers and debureaucratisation.
