Yesterday (8), drainage and nasogastric tube were removed. The drain had been placed in his abdomen four days ago to remove the accumulated fluid near the place where the colostomy bag was attached. The improvement of the intestine and the good acceptance of the liquid diet made it possible to remove the nasogastric tube.
The President does not have an appointment scheduled for the weekend. A new medical report on his health should be published late this afternoon.
