According to Plbadto's advice, the Brazilian president will be the first Latin American state leader to speak at the opening of the plenary session of the World Economic Forum. The speech of Bolsonaro should take place at 12:30 (Brasilia time).
Upon arriving in Davos on Monday, the President said that he would make a "very brief" and "objective" speech to say that Brazil was looking for "no ideological bias".
Bolsonaro and the Brazilian delegation have to return to Brasilia on Friday (25). During the period when the President is out of the country, Vice President of the Republic, Hamilton Mourão, is responsible for Plbadto.
The President travels to Switzerland accompanied by his son, MP Eduardo Bolsonaro (PSL-SP), and five ministers:

- Jair Bolsonaro is the fifth Brazilian president to participate in the World Economic Forum since 1998. The former President of the Republic of Brazil, Presidents Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1998), Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (2003, 2005 and 2007), Dilma Rousseff (2014) and Michel Temer (2018) attended the meeting during their terms.
The President of the Republic declared that he wanted to show the participants of the economic forum that his government was taking measures to restore "confidence" in Brazil, without "ideological agreements".

He will urge the international community that the adoption of reforms, such as social security, is essential for balancing public accounts.
The president wants to make the world understand that Brazil is a privatization-friendly country and open to private investment.
The situation of Venezuela is also on the agenda of Bolsonaro in Davos. The president is expected to participate Wednesday (23) in a "diplomatic dialogue" to discuss the "humanitarian crisis" in the South American country.
On Monday, Bolsonaro said he was planning to change "quickly" the Venezuelan government, led by Nicolás Maduro.
The Brazilian reunited last week in Brasilia with opponents in Maduro in order to increase the pressure exerted against the Venezuelan government. Maduro took office in January for a second five-year term as president. Part of the international community does not recognize the new mandate of the Venezuelan head of state, and among these countries is Brazil.
