The President of the National Institute of Statistical Studies and Research, Anísio Teixeira (Inep), Maria Ines Fini, was exonerated on Monday (14).
The exemption was published in the "Official Journal of the Union" and is signed by the Minister of the Civil House, Onyx Lorenzoni.
In office since May 2016, Maria Inês was nominated by the then president, Michel Temer, and President Jair Bolsonaro had already announced last year that he would change the command of body.
Linked to the Ministry of Education, Inep is the body responsible for the National Examination in High School (Enem).
In November, as president-elect, Bolsonaro said that as of this year, he would have access to the content of the Enem test before the exam is applied.
At the time, Bolsonaro said he made that decision because Enem's 2018 deal with "pajuba", a set of expressions badociated with gays and transvestites.
"This proof of the Enem – will say that I imply, for God's sake – this theme of the particular language of these people, what we have to do with that, my God of heaven, when we see the translation of these words, an absurdity, an absurdity, do you want the boys to be interested now in Enem next year? "Asked Bolsonaro at the time.
"You can be sure and rebadured, you will not have any questions like that next year, because we will be aware of the test sooner," he added.
A week before the statements of Bolsonaro, Maria Ines Fini stated in an interview with G1 that Enem "is not part of this or that government," but "of Brazil" .
