President Jair Bolsonaro said Monday (21) that he was landing in Davos, Switzerland, which he hoped to change "quickly" from the Venezuelan government, led by Nicolas Maduro.

On Monday, the Supreme Court of Venezuela declared "null" all acts approved by the National Assembly since January 5. The Venezuelan parliament is controlled by the opposition in Maduro.

The decision of the Constitutional Chamber of Venezuela's highest court states that all the acts that have been adopted in recent days are "void". This includes the possession of opponent Juan Guaidó as president of the Venezuelan parliament.

Last week, the National Assembly declared Maduro – who was sworn in this month for a second five-year term – "usurper" of the presidential post. The World Economic Forum will be held from Tuesday to Friday (25) and will bring together about 250 G20 (the 20 largest economies in the world) and other countries.

At the event, world leaders will discuss a common economic agenda at the global, regional, and industrial levels. The theme of this year's meeting is "Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution".

Jair Bolsonaro traveled to Switzerland accompanied by Ministers Ernesto Araújo (Foreign Affairs), Economy (Paulo Guedes), Sérgio Moro (Justice and Public Security), Gustavo Bebianno (General Secretariat of the Presidency) and Augusto Heleno Institutional). MP Eduardo Bolsonaro (PSL-SP), the son of the president, has also embarked for Davos.
