President-elect Jair Bolsonaro left his home on Saturday (22) at around 9:50 am to visit the island of Marambaia, on the south coast of Rio de Janeiro. Bolsonaro will spend Christmas with his family at the naval base located on the north coast of the island
The island of Marambaia, which houses a naval training center, is located at the end west of Marambaia Restinga, a huge strip of land.
The place is a haven for presidents of the Republic, who at this year's carnival received President Michel Temer and his family
Bolsonaro should stay on the island until the next day 27. Then, he returns home to Barra da Tijuca, in the western area of Rio, where he stays until the 29th day, when he goes to Brasilia.
