Unanimously, public transport workers in Porto Velho decided to resign on Saturday afternoon (26). The decision was made at a meeting of the Union of Public Transport Workers (Sitetuperon).
The information on the case was confirmed by Sitetuperon's president, Francinei Oliveira. "To this day, these workers are no longer part of the SIM consortium, there are no more buses."
"Everything has been done by the board of directors of this union so that this does not happen today," added Francinei Oliveira. About 98% of the city's public transit workers were present at the meeting.
