Parallel to the CES 2019, which began today in Las Vegas, LG has launched a new smartphone middleman, as planned. This is the case of the LG Q9, which seems for the moment to be dedicated to the South Korean market.
The curious fact is the great similarity, already noted here – not to say that it is a smartphone, between the new model and LG. G7 Fit, released last year.
On screen, we see a 6.1-inch screen with a 19.5: 9 ratio and a QHD + resolution with the same 1000 nits peak. The notch contains a 8MP wide angle front camera and other sensors, in addition to the headphone jack.
The processor is the Snapdragon 821 from Qualcomm – yes, the one released in 2016 – with kryo architecture and the LG Q9 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with possibility of extension via microSD. There is only one rear camera of 16MP and, to top it off, the device has IP68 protection against water and dust. To account for the device, the battery is 3000mAh.
It should be noted that the LG Q9 is equipped with a DAC Quad Hi-Fi system that reduces distortion and noise by more than 50% for sharper sound quality.
The price announced by the company is striking for a device with a two-year hardware and a design identical to that of the LG G7 Fit. The LG Q9 will be sold in South Korea for $ 447, or 1666.10 in direct conversion.
