The new owner is the last piece of untouched land on the border of Balneário Camboriú. Caixa Econômica Federal took possession of the five parcels located along Praia de Taquarinhas, the only deserted beach in the region – and one of the last in the state. The area was secured by a loan contracted by the construction company Thá.
The construction company was planning to build an ecological complex in Taquarinhas. But these lands are in the middle of the environmental protection zone of the Costa Brava and have been waiting for years, which paralyzed the project.
The Federal Attorney General and the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) against the former Fatma and Balneário Camboriú City Hall, claiming that the area was in permanent preservation. Last year, federal judge Tiago do Carmo Martins of Itajaí decided that the municipality would complete the APA management plan and that new licenses would be issued by environmental agencies only if they respected the rules contained in the document.
For Other Purposes
In a note, Taquarinhas Investimentos e Participações, a company belonging to the group Thá, the owner of the land, indicated that it "did not oppose" the "transfer of the property to Caixa and that" due to the slow approval by the relevant agencies that hang over for over 15 years, the company believes that it is more interesting to give another purpose to the property. "
The fact that lands have been accepted as collateral and have been prosecuted for years in a conservation area – and with little opportunity for building permission – raised issues. Caixa Econômica Federal would have badessed the property and understood that at least part of the land would be possible to build.
In a note, Caixa stated that "all badessment work is prepared in accordance with the ABNT standards group. NBR 14653 and the internal requirements of the bank ", on the basis of the valuation mechanism." In the case in question, the property was subject to collateral security in housing operations and the badessment considered all aspects mentioned above. "The bank did not specify the value of the land and what would be the destination of real estate.
It is possible that they are resold by the Caixa or even put back into public power to be transformed into a park, for example.
Natural Park
Taquarinhas Beach occupies a constant place in the lists of deserted and untouched beaches of Santa Catarina Coast. In 2009, a project by the then deputy sergeant, Amauri Soares, proposed to turn it into a state park. The project was stopped for years under the scrutiny of MP Marcos Vieira – and was finally tabled at the end of the legislature.
