Parintins – Boi-Bumbá Caprichoso won the 53rd Folklore Festival of Parintins and won the bicampeonato (2017 and 2018) presenting the theme "Popular Wisdom – An Ancient Revolution". Judges' notes were counted in the early afternoon of this Monday at the Buzzódromo of Parintins, in the state of Amazonas.
The bumbás arena, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2018, was the scene of the tenths conflict. Black Bull won the three nights of the festival. The difference in bumbás was 3.7 points in the overall score. Caprichoso was 1,259.1 and guaranteed with 1,255.4.
The Caprichoso opened the first night of presentation, in the last sixth, and introduced the theme: "Ancestrality, the Ethos of Popular Knowledge."
