This weekend, between the night of Friday (6) and the morning of this Sunday (8), Ceará had an average rainfall of 20 in all the state, scheduled for the whole month of July. It was 13.5 millimeters on Saturday (7) and seven on Sunday, according to preliminary data from the Cearense Foundation for Meteorology and Water Resources (Funceme).
The heaviest rains this Sunday occurred in Paracuru (83 millimeters), São Gonçalo do Amarante (72), Eusebio (32) and Itapipoca (29).
The forecast for the end is a cloudy day with possibility of rain on the coast of the state. On Monday (9), there must be cloudy weather with the risk of rain on the coast and Serra da Ibiapaba, as planned by Funceme.
On Sunday, heavy rains in Fortaleza again caused upheavals, such as the flooding of roads and the fall trees. The new tunnel of Avenida Borges de Melo, in the district of Fátima, has been blocked due to floods. The place was released early Saturday night.
