With the 13th salary on hand and Christmas approaching, the month of December becomes the most important month for trading. In Curitiba, shopping centers have decided to take advantage of the season. At least seven institutions in the capital have extended hours starting Friday (14) and two more closed Thursday (6), leaving more time for consumers to buy.
Curitiba Shopping Malls Schedules
Most places should open an hour earlier or close an hour later, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement of the Trades Union in Curitiba shopping malls (Sindishopping). The change will also apply on Sundays, when stores generally run for a shorter period of six hours – and will open on average for 12 hours in the next few weeks.

Some establishments stay open until midnight the whole week before Christmas, in the case of Park Shopping Barigui.
Two of the malls, Palladium and Ventura, decided to start the extended program before everyone else last Thursday.
