Corinthians knocks out the Superliga and ends the fast of the season

The Corinthians / Guarulhos finally won their first Superleague Men 2018/19 victory. The team led by Gersinho triumphed 3 sets to 0 (25/20, 25/22 and 26/24) against Maringá Volleyball on Saturday night at the Ponte Grande Gymnasium in Guarulhos

the victory but the fact that Corinthians tonight tied the number of sets won in the first six games of the tournament.

"We managed to balance the team, give Marcelinho more options, we had a good pbad, a good playing volume."

In recent days, Corinthians / Guarulhos was campaigning to bring as many fans as possible to the bleachers of the gym.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you for this great victory, I was counting on your presence, Tamo together, the way was not easy, let's climb this ladder now!"

With his first win in the competition, Corinthians moved from 12th place (lantern) to 10th, leaving behind São Judas and Caramuru. Remember that the top eight positions guarantee a place in the playoffs.

The next meeting of the Corinthians men's volleyball team will take place Saturday at 5 pm against Caramuru, at the Multipurpose Arena in Ponta Grossa, Paraná.
