The bodies of a girl and a woman were found Tuesday morning (29) on the Paraguayan side of the border. It is suspected that they belong to Mia Soledad Mendoza Stenbeiger, aged ten months, and to her nanny, Mabel Blanca.
The bodies were found in the rural area of Katuete, Department (Canindeyú), Paraguay, 30 km from Sete Quedas, town of Mato Grosso, 471 km. from Campo Grande. The cause of death is still unknown.
Relatives reported suspected abductions, but the location of the bodies changed the course of the investigation. Eduardo Villalba Benítez, a 26 year old mechanic, is believed to have killed one and the other and to have left their bodies at the edge of a road.

The nanny agreed to meet him and took her with her. The bodies were found in the same area where both were last seen. Mabel was married and had five children.
