Allies of presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) are organizing an event to showcase projects led by the right in other countries. The event, called the "Conservative Summit of the Americas," is scheduled for July 28 in Foz do Iguaçu and should rely on international participation. It is expected that 3,000 people will participate in the meeting – seen as a counterpoint to the São Paulo Forum, which will bring together the legends of the left in Cuba, between July 15 and July 17. The information is taken from the Folha column of S. Paulo on Monday 2.
The Chilean Minister of Labor, Nicolás Díaz, confirmed his presence. The philosopher Olavo de Carvalho will make a direct online participation of the United States
The conference will serve as a platform for debate on the right platforms for the economy, security, culture and politics. Proponents of the Bolsonaro campaign, such as economist Paulo Guedes and General Augusto Heleno, cited for vice pre-candidate, must also run.
MP Fernando Francischini (PSL-PR) said that at the end of the meeting will be developed a letter of principles from the right. "Even because the idea is, with the election of Bolsonaro, to form a new political, economic and cultural axis in the region."
