Cristiano Ronaldo to follow in the selection: "It's not time to talk about the future" | Portugal

– This is not the time to talk about the future of the coach, the players, a selection cycle. But I am absolutely sure that the selection will continue as one of the best in the world with great players. It's a fantastic and young group, a group that has a huge ambition to want to succeed and so I'm confident, I'm happy because I know that the team will always be in great shape.

Even though Portugal fell again in the last 16 of the World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo ensures that he leaves the competition with his head held high. The speech, however, did not get support in the face of the ace, who left the mixed zone visibly knocked out of the 2-1 defeat for Uruguay.

– I like to work, work hard for things to go well. The organization surprised the good side. I think the tournament is very well structured, a lot of security. I leave here happy. Things were not what we wanted, but in terms of security, very good. And so, head up because Portugal will continue to win.
