Dengue patients are dengue-infected, screened, and referred for specific medical, physical, or medicinal care, and under hydration.

Housewife Márcia Maria Poltronieri, 49, arrived early with her 7-year-old daughter Kauane. The girl was sick on the weekends and her mother went for treatment. "I have already taken her to the UPA and they have sent me here, we are waiting for the necessary steps for my daughter to improve," she said.

Luiz Gustavo Leopoldo, a 41-year-old carpenter, went directly to the dentist to have his parents treated. The elderly couple suffers from a suspicion of dengue fever. "I hope that they will have the necessary care," he says.

In addition to dengue fever, four municipal health centers located in neighborhoods where the dengue virus is most prevalent work up to 19 hours.
