Embrapa accepts the use of space technology in agriculture

Embrapa and Visiona Tecnologia Espacial signed a cooperation agreement Friday on the development of projects combining space technologies and computer systems to be applied to agriculture. The goal is to advance in mapping and monitoring of agricultural production areas, environmental ecosystems and conservation areas, according to Embrapa. Through this partnership, it will be easier to develop systems that obtain satellite data to facilitate monitoring and mapping.
