In 2017, Apple announced the iPhones 8, 8 Plus and X. It was the first three devices of the company with fast support, already present on Android smartphones a few years ago and very sought by the public. However, this feature was not so effective, which ultimately disappointed users. Now here are pictures of what appears to be the new fast charge adapter for the next generation of iPhones.
According to what has been revealed, Apple will announce with the iPhone 9 (or any other name used by the company) a new adapter for fast charging. In this case, this new accessory can provide 18W and support USB Power Delivery 3.0 for even faster charging. In the disclosed images of this adapter, we also see that it will have a USB type C input, and in other chargers, the company only uses the common USB.
Today, for users to be able to use a fast charge on the iPhone 8, a USB Type C lightning cable and a wall adapter are required, sold separately for high prices. With this new charger, Apple should choose to offer it for free in the box of its more expensive devices, such as iPhone X Plus, for example, in the same way as in Android users.
This new charger must be introduced by Apple in case of launch of the next generation of iPhones. This should happen in the last half of 2018, probably between September and October. During the event, the company will confirm all the news on the next three iPhones that will be released.
And you, reader, were excited about the possibility that Apple is announcing a fast charger of 18W?
