Jane reported that the first Saab Gripen E fighter targeting Brazil was entering the second stage of final badembly and that he was heading to his first test flight this year .
Conal Walker, Saab, said on Jan. 31 that there were three stages in the final badembly.
Stage 1 corresponds to most installations, such as cables and pipelines.
Step 2 includes badembly of avionics, auxiliary power unit, engine, radar, ducks, sail and windshield.
The video below, published by Saab do Brasil, shows four Gripen E hunters on the badembly line in Sweden.
In the calendar below, the deliveries of the fighters released by the FAB, the first Brazilian Gripen E is to fly in July 2019.
