Fluscio says he's giving up the leadership and is getting out of the next election

For lack of a quorum, President Pedro Abad escaped the vote of dismissal Thursday at a meeting of the Deliberative Council in Laranjeiras. However, after the meeting, Fluminense 's director called a press conference and announced that he would convene a meeting to try to anticipate the elections scheduled for the beginning of the year 2019.

Following the decision of the administrator, Flusócio issued an official note on Friday addressing the issue and stating that she would abandon management, in addition to standing on the sidelines of Fluminense's upcoming election process.
