The effects of Ford's significant cost reduction to make international operations more profitable has arrived in Brazil. Two models of the American brand will undergo significant changes in the domestic market, but we are already seeing the first signs.
Focus has already set a date to leave the line in Argentina: May 2019. Ford will leave General Pacheco and there will be no substitute. So, with five months to come, the model is already starting to bid farewell with a good discount of up to R $ 10,610.
As we know, Focus will also stop being made in Mexico, leaving the American continent. In the same way, another element that comes out of the scene is the New Fiesta, at least the Mexican has already said goodbye. Here, Ford no longer offers the imported sedan. And much more.
The hatch is still manufactured in São Bernardo do Campo, but it no longer appears with the Powershift change or with the 1.0 EcoBoost engine. This also makes it clear that the end is close to the ABC model, since there is no way to stay long without automatic exchange in the Brazilian market.
