Google currently uses the Android operating system and ChromeOS, two solutions popular with the public.
En route to its third year of development, Google's new operating system is expected to replace Android. By the way, it's almost a certainty. Especially now that support for Fuchsia's Android apps has been confirmed.
Fuchsia would join ChromeOS because it can also run Android applications.
This means that the transformation of the current panorama will be gradual, without abrupt cuts.
Fuchsia will take over the Android operating system
The Fuchsia operating system will be able to run virtually every application it has on your smartphone. This is at least what some publications point out to have discovered two new repositories hinting at the new system.
First, the two repositories are part of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Since the first one already contains a predefined version of the Fuchsia SDK. In other words, the kit used to develop applications for this new operating system.
The second of the repositories is simply identified by "device / google / fuchsia". However, it was thought that this should be used to emulate the Android operating system applications.
What has now been confirmed through a modification of the source code of Android Gerrit. As a result, the ability of the new operating system to emulate the applications we currently use is confirmed.
Secondly, we do not know exactly how Fuchsia will use Android RunTime (ART).
Because we only know that the arrival of the new operating system will not mean the end nor the immediate obsolescence of the other. On the contrary, Google will ensure a smooth transition as possible.
Third, the Fuchsia operating system is fully developed by Google. All this to circumvent some of the current limitations of the "green robot" system.
Huawei will be one of the first to test Fuchsia
The new Fuchsia can be used on both a smartphone and a computer.
Then, as we had already announced in Pplware, Huawei will be one of the first manufacturers to use fuchsia.
The smartphone in question is equipped with the Kirin 970 processor. It is the current high-end SoC of Chinese Huawei. guarantees optimal performance to the Honor device, thus justifying its choice.
In short, the new operating system should be able to run Android applications in a virtual system.
There is no date for the publication of the latest version of this new operating system.
