Elected President, Jair Bolsonaro, today (28) warned via Twitter that he was planning to increase the validity of the national driver's license in Brazil.
"I inform that we will make efforts to move to 10 years the validity of the national driving license," said Bolsonaro, who congratulated the government of Rio de Janeiro who announced
at the beginning of year, the government revoked a resolution of the National Traffic Department (Denatran), which required drivers to take a 10-hour theoretical course and pbad a driver's license renewal test.
The mission on transit rules will be transferred to Gustavo Canuto from January 2019, who will hold the Ministry of Regional Development. The file will resume the attributions of cities and national integration – two ministries that were removed by the president-elect.
At four days of the new government, Bolsonaro outlined the priorities of the 22 files that will integrate his leadership. The guidelines range from expenditure adjustments to specific measures for each area.
