247 – Before a concert in Lisbon, singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil, one of the biggest names in Brazilian culture, lists the reasons for the liberation of former President Lula: his symbolic character, the explicit persecution that has been displaced by the judiciary and also the fact that the Brazilian people wish to see him back to the presidency. Gil also talked about his personal reason, which he said was not motivated. "I want to free Lula because I want to free Lula."
The freedom of the Lula giants of national culture, such as Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso and now Gilberto Gil, has already manifested. Lula, however, was kept as a political prisoner with explicit maneuvers from the Federal Supreme Court, by ministers such as Carmen Lúcia and Edson Fachin. The arrest of Lula also serves international interests, contrary to national sovereignty, of those who enjoy national wealth, such as pre-salt.
