Google has released version 72 of the Chrome browser for users of Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems. The update includes new features in the program settings.
One of the key changes is to remove support for managing Chromecast dongles via the browser. Until then, by typing the command "chrome: // cast", the browser was looking for devices connected to the same network. The address now transmits the user to the device offers. Check below:
The other changes are on the settings page. It has been reworked and now divides the auto-completion into a separate section, without being badociated with pbadwords, forms of payment and addresses.
In addition, Internet users now have a shortcut to open Google Account Management. Synchronization remains available. See below before and after in the screenshots.
In browser-specific cases on Mac and Chrome OS platforms, version 72 still added support for external authentication devices. They are connected by BLE and direct users during pairing and the two-factor authentication process.
Chrome 72 is now available for Windows, MacOS and Linux. Chrome OS will receive the update later. Do not forget that Google's plans change to remove certain types of extensions from your browser.
