Google Maps has started to create a new feature built into the application available in Brazil. Maps promises to show the location of speed cameras on the route selected by the user, using orange balls with a camera to signal the presence of speed reducer.
The novelty is gradually being released for Google Maps users in the Android and iOS around the world and also comes to those who own the application in the country. Google did not comment on the subject, but the novelty should also happen in other versions of the service, such as PC and automotive systems, according to Tecmundo.
In addition to reporting speed cameras, Google Maps now can also indicate the presence of works on the road. In either case, users feed the application with warnings and, after a large number of alerts, the system begins to identify the interference on the road.
