The city of Guaruja will organize a special mega-team on Friday against diseases caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, such as dengue, zikas and chikungunya. The action, known as "D-Day" – National Day Against Arbovirosis – will serve to alert and educate the public on the prevention of these diseases.
According to the municipality, about 200 people will participate in this effort, among community health workers, endemic control agents and other agents
The mobilization began last Monday (26) with the Week against Arboviruses . During this period, the Health Secretariat intensified the visits of the endemic control officers and community health workers, which also prompted the public to do their part, inspecting their homes, searching for mosquito larvae and eliminating possible outbreaks. .
The concentration for "D-day", Friday (30), will be held at 8:30 am, at Plaza 14a, in Vicente de Carvalho.
