Spotify is one of today's leading streaming music services. Its application for Android phones has several features and integrations in the system, including the alarm clock used by Google. The Google Assistant, provided with all Android devices, simplifies various daily tasks, such as creating to-do lists or even playing music, with your default player being Google Play Music.

Fortunately, if you use the Spotify app to play music on your phone, be aware that it's possible to perform a setup so that it can be used by Google Assistant. Using Spotify with Google Assistant

To use Spotify in Google Assistant there is no need to have a premium account in the service, however, its free accounts only allow you to start it randomly. Here's how to set it up:
