Luan Santana interviewed Fernanda Souza, his new working partner, for Cbad Extra magazine. The artists will present the show "SóTocaTop" on the Saturday afternoons of Globo, from July 14th.
LUAN: Have you ever thought of being a singer?
FERNANDA: Actually, I never thought about it. They thought of me. When I left "Chiquititas", I recorded a CD, but as I had an exclusive contract with a station, I could not disclose it and it did not work. I've been a singer (laughs), but I do not consider myself a singer.
F: I have never seen myself as funny, but I have always been extroverted. I think the TV found me funny when she invited me to do the Mirna (character "Soul Mate", 2005). It was the first time I was doing comedy on TV and I soon realized that it was a place where I liked to work.
F: My first job was at the age of 9 in the "Portrait of Woman" series.
L: Who was the first artist who charmed her and inspired her the desire to be an actress? I was Regina Duarte's daughter. It was a very small role, but working with it was amazing. She was very wonderful, kind. So, Regina was my first reference. Obviously, I tried to learn a little bit from her.
L: Any actor or actress can be a presenter?
F: To be a presenter, the key is to enjoy communication. I really do not know if an actor can be presenter (laughs). I started, really, to introduce (laughs). Then I participated in "Portraits of a woman", I did a program called "X tudo" (TV Cultura) for three years. In my case, one thing works next to the other.
[19659002] L: The actress knows how to pretend better than the rest of humanity or does everyone have a bit of an actor when it is time to pretend?
F: This question is very difficult to answer. Anyone, there is always something happening in the scenes. You will always have a little something in common, even if it is 1%. So, I do not think I can pretend completely.
L: When you expressed your desire to be an actress, someone asked you what other profession would follow?
F: My will to act has manifested itself at the age of five. So, before that, I did not think anything (laughs). When I grew up, I thought about going to psychology, but I gave up.
L: Is it easier to make you laugh or cry?
F: It's much easier for me to make you laugh. I've always had problems with dramatic scenes. In fact, I have difficulty doing theater in life. I'm not happy all the time, of course, no one is, but I suffer from what I have to suffer, then I go to therapy, I meditate … And then I go back to my normal, who is to be happy, happy.
