Bus driver Jacob Barata Filho said the sector had transferred R $ 145 million to former governor Sérgio Cabral from 2010 to 2016, says O Dia.
He testified on Wednesday, (19659003) Barata, arrested at Galeão International Airport while he was preparing to travel abroad, stressed he has never given any value to Cabral. According to him, those who deal directly with the payments are the former head of the Federation of Bus Companies (Fetranspor), José Carlos Lavouras, currently abroad, a fugitive of justice.
Barata told Bretas that the practice of tipping politicians was very old in the state of Rio de Janeiro and that it had not occurred during the government of Leonel Brizola which had ended by some companies.
