The new generation of the 911 Cabriolet shares the coupe's features such as wider rear wheel fairings, which now have the same width In addition to these elements, the convertible opens a new opening and closing mechanism roof, which can now be lowered in just 12 seconds and at a speed of up to 50 km / h, and the PASM Active Suspension Control System, proposed for the first time in the Convertible and featuring even more suspension components sports, such as smaller and more powerful vehicles. The new 911 Cabriolet will initially be offered only in the Carrera S and Carrera 4S versions, both equipped with a 3.0-liter Boxer engine developing 450 horsepower and differentiated only from the rear (S) and the # 39, integral (4S).
The Carrera S accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds (with the optional Sport Chrono package, 3.7 seconds) and can reach a speed of 306 km / h. The Carrera 4S reaches a top speed of 304 km / h and reaches a speed of 0 to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds (with the Sport Chrono pack, 3.6 seconds).
