Foldable smartphones are slowly starting to invade the market. Although Microsoft apparently excluded the idea of producing its own, Intel, which has always been a Redmond Giant partner, has filed a patent with its appliance concept, with three reducible sections.
The document was filed in the middle of 2017 and now only coming soon, showing that the idea is to have the size of a large tablet when unfolded and to keep a compact appearance. With this, it would be possible to use it as calculator, mini computer with numeric keypad and electronic reader.
Cameras and other sensors are placed on the screen and the stylus, like the pen S Pen of the latest Galaxy Note. A very interesting idea is the possibility of doubling the triangle. Thus, it is easier to watch movies, to participate in a videoconference and to use it as an alarm clock – or even as a digital badistant, according to the integrated programs.
