Until recently, gifs were the best option for those wishing to communicate visually in WhatsApp. Years after the telegram – which pinned the messenger -, the application received the famous miniatures, which became a hit among users.
However, navigating gifs and stickers on a platform is a martyrdom. Screen size, we are limited to browse the collection in half-window, space occupied by the keyboard. But it seems that Facebook meets our expectations and may be working to reshape the presentation of these features.
The one who raises this possibility is the WPBetaInfo portal, reputed to anticipate the functionality of the tool. The most recent version of the application integrates into the source code snippets that, once rebadembled, display a new navigation menu occupying the entire window, as is currently done by Twitter looking for gifs.
Novelty, however, is not even available in the evaluation versions of the application. As we have pointed out, extensive work on the source code has been a great indicator of these plans. So, despite the good weather, their arrival can take a lot of time.
In any case, it is valid to enter the team of beta testers. After all, it should be the first channel powered by updates. Remember, on iOS, WhatsApp recently had the test version also, via Testflight.
And you, what do you think of this redesign of the presentation? Do you prefer the current navigation method? Tell us in the comments!
