A photo on which Lula gestures, imitating a pair of binoculars, sits next to former president Dilma Rousseff. The text that accompanies the image indicates that Lula is "drunk and pissed off" and had to be "quietly" removed from the Davos forum in Switzerland. The message, however, is #FAKE.
The file, in fact, it was not manufactured in Davos, Switzerland, in 2003, as the false text indicates. In fact, the photo is from February 2009 and was taken in Brasilia. At the time, Lula and Dilma were at a ceremony to award prizes. In the original photo, it is also possible to see Marisa Leticia, then wife of Lula, in the left corner.
The photo was even published in the newspapers of the time. The newspaper "Folha de S.Paulo" published the photo of Wilson Dias, photographer ABr, with the following caption on February 18, 2009: Binoculars . Between Dilma and Marisa, Lula plays with the audience of children at a prize giving ceremony in Brasilia.
