Ernesto Teplik Junior was the only one of his kind. one of those present. . Although Defender was considered the first model of the brand, the name was only adopted in 1990. It was born under the name of Land Rover. In 1958, ten years after the launch of the pioneering vehicle, came the Series 2. In 1970, the brand introduced the Range Rover, larger and more comfortable.

In 1971, the Land Rover Series 3 was launched. Discovery, the third model of the English manufacturer, arrived in 1989.

The first vehicle of the brand to adopt the monobloc body is Freelander, launched in 1997. And in 2005, the British company presents the Range Rover Sport, with low roof and first V8 turbo diesel engine. The Range Rover Evoque was launched in 2010 and became an instant hit with its sporty lines.

Defender production is halted in January 2016, a year before the arrival of the Range Rover Velar.
