Ceará Governor Camilo Santana said on Friday (11) that he would introduce a bill for people who denounce perpetrators of violent aggression in the state.
The law on rewards provides for the payment in cash of information transmitted by the population to the police and to prevent criminal acts and arrest the criminals involved in these acts, according to Camilo Santana. If it is approved, the state government will be responsible for the payment of the reward. The values and details of the project have not been reported.
The law will be pbaded this Saturday (12) in the Legislative Assembly of Ceará, in extraordinary and urgent session, with the aim of containing the wave of crimes that have occurred in the state since January 2. There are more than 190 attacks coordinated by criminal factions. More than 300 suspects have been arrested, according to the Public Security Secretariat.

In addition to the law on rewards, Ceará deputies will vote this Saturday:
- Convocation of the military police in the reserve to help reinforce the Ceará troops who
- Increase in the number of overtime hours that can be paid to all officers of pol military, civilian and military, in addition to firefighters, so that there is an increase in the number of troops
- Authorization to immediately apply for more than 220 prison officers working in the state system, in addition to the 220 that it had already called last week.
"These measures, in addition to all that we have already taken, are aimed at strengthening the security system of our State in the hard fight against organized crime, which operates in the street and in the penitentiary system", said the governor, expressing himself on social networks.
Members of rival factions united against the government, after the secretary of the Ceará Prison Administration, Mauro Albuquerque, have announced more rigor in the supervision of prisons.
Mauro Albuqurque, baduming the position created on January 1 of this year, promised to end the entry of mobile phones in prisons and the division of prisoners according to the faction to which they belong. Attacks are an attempt to roll back the state.
