Marcelo Grohe, forever in our history

It ends Wednesday on one of the most emblematic chapters of the contemporary history of Grêmio. The club announces to its fans that goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe has a 19-year winning cycle and is moving to Al-Ittihad, Saudi Arabia. Since the age of 13 to 31 years, Marcelo has climbed all stages of idolatry and has become one of the greatest guardians of our history.

Incorporated to the main group of Grêmio during the series B 2005, Marcelo Grohe always was a representative of crowd gremista in the field. He was a starter in the conquest of Gauchão in 2006 and participated in the state titles of 2007 and 2010.

Owner of the jersey 1 since 2014, Grohe took advantage of the opportunity to defend the goal tricolor and was recognized at the reception of the Silver Ball in 2014 2015 and be summoned to the Brazilian national team on certain occasions.

From the penalty shoot-out against Athletic in the last 16 games of the Brazil Cup to the magnificent defense against Barcelona in Guayaquil, Grohe was an important player in the resumption of Grêmio titles.
